Podcast Special:  Hey Mama! (Women’s Month)

For Women’s Month DJ Fluffee interviewed women in their homes, at their place of work and in her own home to find out the root of the debate: To have children or not to have children.  Women who do not want to have children are constantly barraged with questions from family and strangers as to why they don’t want to have children, somehow in 2017 this is still an abnormal choice to make regarding your own body, but who is asking the women who want to be mothers why they want to have children? So we asked women on both sides of this argument what their thoughts are on this debate, why they think millennials are having less babies than generations before them, where the messages that a woman’s ‘purpose’ is to have babies comes from, and what advice they have for women who are being told they are ‘less of a woman’ and ‘selfish’ for not wanting to have children.

This topic has many alleys and side streets to it, we’ve tried to stay along the same road, but you’re more than welcome to join our journey and let us know what you think in the comments below.
